DOC – SSD awarded for excellence
The Social Services Directorate of the Diocese of Chikwawa was on Tuesday 29th August 2023, awarded for excelling in key areas of operation through the Ana Patsogolo Activity.
The awards were given at a close of the planning meeting for APA Project between Bantwana and all partners.
The DOC SSD was awarded as the most responsive partner among the other partners. The Directorate was also most importantly awarded as the most improved partner in planning, data quality, financing and reporting.
Receiving the awards on behalf of the Directorate, Fr Mathews Allan Semba who is the Director expressed gratitude for being recognized by the project donor. He further commended and encouraged his team members not to relax but work even harder so as to achieve more especially win donor confidence so that the organization can be further assisted to carry out different projects within the Diocese.
Planning, data quality, financing and reporting are important facets of project management and they play an important role in project analysis and wins donor confidence.
Ana Patsogolo Activity is a program that delivers health and social protection services to prevent new HIV infections and reduce vulnerability among orphans and vulnerable children and adolescent girls and young women. The program is led by Bantwana World Education Initiative and the government of Malawi and other Malawian NGOs including the Diocese of Chikwawa Social Services Directorate.
