Bishop Musikwa calls for integrity and honesty among DOC SSD staff
The Diocese of Chikwawa Social Services Directorate commenced its duties in the New Year with opening mass on January 8th, 2024.
The mass, started at 9am at the Social Services Directorate, and was presided over by Right Reverend Peter Musikuwa, Bishop of the Diocese.
In his sermon, the Bishop emphasized on the significance of the social service directorate staff, to be aware that they have to be the light of the world, on behalf of the Church, and urged them to carry out their duties with integrity and honesty.
Speaking at the function, Mr. Kamphira, representing the Board of Directors of the Social Services Directorate, emphasized on the importance of diligent work towards the success of the Diocese and the betterment of the community.
The Director for the Directorate, Father Semba, took his turn and expressed gratitude to Bishop Musikuwa for honoring his plea and gracing the occasion. He urged leaders and staff to take Bishop Musekiwa’s teachings to heart, making sure that the principles of honesty and integrity guide their actions throughout the year.

The New Year’s Opening Mass established a spiritual attitude for the year ahead and also a strengthened sense of unity within the Diocese of Chikwawa Social Services Directorate.
