Chikwawa now has two deacons

The Diaconate of Chikwawa Diocese’s seminarians took place in Zomba on Saturday, 31st October 2020.

The two are Stanford Stains Sungani and Isaac Gerald Jackson.

The Mass started at 9:30 while reception takes place at Zomba College of Nursing.

Sungani was born on 15th May 1995.

Deacon Sungani.

He comes from Helemani Village in the area of Traditional Authority Khwethemule in Thyolo district.

Brother Sungani did his primary school education at Molere Primary in Thyolo and Mzimu Woyera Seminary in Chikwawa before he completed secondary school studies at the same seminary.

He began his priestly formation and studies at Kasina Spiritual formation centre before moving to Kachebere Seminary where he studied Philosophy and then proceeded to St Peters Major Seminary where he is currently studying theology.

Isaac Gerlad Jackson was born on 25th April 1992.

He comes from Goma Village in Ngabu, Chikwawa.

He did primary school education at Goma Primary School before completing primary school studies at Mzimu Woyera Seminary in Chikwawa.

He then started and completed secondary school studies at the same seminary.

Brother Jackson then did his spiritual year of formation at Kasina in Dedza before studying Philosophy at Kachebere Major Seminary.
