New Nuncio for Malawi and Zambia
The Episcopal Conference of Malawi (ECM) has announced Vatican’s appointment of a new Apostolic Nuncio to Malawi and Zambia.
Through a communication signed by Fr Alfred Chaima who is the general Secretary for the Conference, The Vatican has made the appointment of His Excellency Archbishop Gian Luca Perici on 5th June 2023 at noon at the Vatican City.
His Excellency Archbishop Perici will replace Archbishop Gianfranco Gallone who was appointed Nuncio to Uruguay earlier this year.
Archbishop Perici was born on 17th September 1964 in Bassano del grappa, Vicenza. He was ordained a priest on 21st September 1991.
