Fr Tambala departs for Ireland
Father Peter Edson Tambala has left the Diocese for Ireland where he has gone to do mission as he will also study Liturgy. He will be serving in the Diocese of Clogher.
This is largely regarded as historical as he becomes the first priest in recent memory from the Diocese to go on mission to Europe.
Ordained in the year 2020, Fr Tambala has served at Chikwawa Cathedral before moving to Nsanje parish from where he departs for Ireland.
He will be in Ireland for a period of three years.
This marks the beginning of a cordial relationship and practice of sending priests to the Diocese of Clogher, Ireland, for studies and mission. We pray that this opens the door of opportunity for many priests from the Diocese to study and experience missionary life.
