Mitondo Parish

It is also called St Kizito and was established on 9th November 2017.

Formerly, Mitondo was made part of Fatima Parish.

Being one of the newest parishes, it is still under development. Currently, there is no fitting Father’s house.

This area is a flat flood plain on the shire plain and mountainous in the Thyolo hills. Both parts of the parish offer difficulties in travel as the flat plain is often flooded and roads are cut off while the hilly areas cannot be accessed either by either car or motorbike.

Farming is the main activity of the people of this parish.

Father Patrick Nkula is the parish priest.
