Bishop Musikwa makes new appointments and transfers

Bishop Peter Musikuwa of the diocese of Chikwawa, on Thursday 15^th April 2021 announced new appointments and transfers of priests in the diocese. In a letter made available through the office of the Pastoral Coordinator, the bishop has made changes in personnel to run different parishes and institutions.

The appointments are as follows:

• Rev Fr Mpatsa will serve as Chaplain for MCA sisters and General Spiritual director for Mzimu Woyera Seminary resident at the bishops house.
• Rev Fr Yohane Nzondola has been appointed as Coordinator of Diocesan Income Generating projects
• Rev Fr Daniel Makwiti will be curate at Fatima Parish and chaplain of Legion of Mary
• Fr Michael Useni has been appointed as parish priest of Changoima parish
• Rev Fr Tobias Mbalale will serve as parish priest of Nsanje parish
• Rev Fr Peter Tambala as curate at Nsanje Parish
• Rev Fr Peter Ntayamanja will be curate at Ngabu parish and Ndakwera Farm Manager
• Rev Fr Francis Witika will be Parish Priest for Misomali parish
• Rev Fr John Lockie has been appointed curate at Nkhate parish and diocesan communications coordinator
• Rev Fr Cephas Namalomba has been asked to go and serve as curate at Chikwawa Cathedral parish.

In a letter signed by Fr Malata who is Diocesan Pastoral Coordinator, the bishops requests all the faithful and relevant stakeholders to give the new appointees maximum cooperation they need in the vineyard of the Lord.

The new appointments and transfers are effective 10^th May 2021.
